Question   Photo class payment / refund(?).
I would like to sign up for your Sat / Sun photo class at the end of April. When do you need payment made and (when, if at all) can I opt-out of the class (if my schedule changes) with the hope of a refund? Right now I believe there will be no conflict, but I would like to know if I have any 'outs'. Thanks....

- Bob Erickson 1/4/2012 11:57:37 AM

Answer First of all you can opt out at any time and get a full refund. I would however, like as much notice as you could provide. I can send you a paypal invoice or you can send a check and I will hold your spot upon receipt of payment. You can make payment anytime the only risk would be the class filling up before I received your payment. I think this makes it easy.
If you want to send a check and need my address, email me at bclark@bclarkphotos.com and I will send you my address.

- Bob Clark  1/4/2012 12:55:04 PM

Answer Please sign me up. I sent an e-mail requesting your address just a minute ago. For some reason, I was looking for an e-mail response and did not think to check this message board until this morning. Sorry.

Question   Type of lens
Bob, I was cleaning at Dave and Jeanette Sheltons the other day and noticed a picture. I ask Dave who took it and he said you. He showed me another one of yours which both were very awesome by the way. I love taking pictures and I was wondering what type of lens you used on those pictures. They were the ones of him in the tractors. I have a Nikon D40 and a zoom the I just purchased of 55mm-300mm. I haven't even used it yet. I had a 55mm-200mm but sold it to get the better zoom. Thanks

- Andra Harshbarger Hudson 11/27/2011 6:44:06 PM

Answer Hi Andra, I used a 300mm F2.8 and a Nikon D700 to get the shot of him unloading the combine into a wagon and I used a wide angle 12 - 24mm when I took the other one. I was very close to the combine as he passed. I was shooting Nikon then, but I'm shooting Canon now. I am having classes in my home starting Jan 7th for 5 weeks ending with a field workshop on the 5th week. If you are interested let me know and I'll send you some information.

- Bob Clark  11/28/2011 4:14:03 AM

Answer Thanks for getting back with me Bob. You can send me some info. Not sure if I will be able to make it but it sounds interesting. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

- Andra Hudson  12/1/2011 7:43:46 PM

Answer I'm having a free class at the Athens Gallery on New Years Eve from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. I can't cover much in an hour, but I answer all questions anyone may have. I also bring brochures for the various classes I have at home. If you want to send me our email address I'll include you in a monthly email I send detailing my classes. If not, no problem. Have a great holiday season.

- Robert C.  12/2/2011 6:59:56 AM

Answer Thanks Bob, email is kanda-24@sbcglobal.net. I'll think about the New Years Eve class.

Question   Southwest Photos
I don't think I could pick one photo over another of your Southwest Photos. They are absolutely beautiful, as usual, and exceeded all of my expectations. I knew they would be great but these are above and beyond. Your talent constantly amazes me and I still look at them weekly. If you could see how many I have in my favorites, you would be shocked! Thank you for sharing these moments. They are truly special.

- Sheila Jones 7/17/2011 12:49:33 PM

Question   Quality of your work
As usual, I love your newest photos and look at your site at least weekly to see any new photos and to view again all the previous photos. I love every one of them and can't wait to get more. I currently have five of your beautiful wraps and I am getting ready to purchase more (or should I say, "My friend" is ready to purchase more?). Your photos are truly beautiful works of art and I intend to make my home a gallery of your work. Thank you for that opportunity.

- Sheila Jones 3/27/2011 2:06:38 AM

Answer Sheila, Thanks for your kind comments. I am going to take more shots of Bald Eagles on May 2nd and you may want to see them. I do have several other recent shots I don't yet have posted on my site but they will be posted soon. Talk to you soon.

- Bob Clark  3/27/2011 6:19:04 AM

Question   Photography workshop
Do you do any workshops around the Indianapolis area? I am in awe of your photography. I love photographing wildlife and you photos are extraordinary. I would love to know how you are able to capture the wildlife images in particular.

- eileen181 1/12/2011 5:47:15 PM

Answer I have often been asked about doing just that, but I haven't done so at this time. I will contact you via your email address in the next few weeks because I am working on a workshop idea but need to finalize some details first. Thank you for asking.

Question   photo's / education
Your work is wonderful! I am a passionate amature looking for advice. Did you find Amy Renfry's e books helpful? As of present I am signed up with the New York Inst. of Photography. Just got my second set of lessons today. I will continue with them. But am not sure if it's the best program for me. thank you for your time. toni

- Toni Clark 11/18/2009 10:09:43 PM

Answer It's good to hear from you and I'm glad you like my work. I am sorry to say I am not familiar with Amy Renfry's e books. I have taken classes for over 20 years starting with cassette tapes and what I've found is this; what matters is what you as a photographer does with the material. I always try to immediately apply the techniques any lesson covered to make sure I could add to my skill set. Photograph is a known art and once the basics are understood your imagination is the only limiting factor. Good luck with your classes and let me know when you have a web site so I can view your work.
